2016 World Series Champion
In 2016, Matt Dorey served as the Director of Amateur Scouting for the Chicago Cubs, playing a key role in drafting and scouting talent during the team’s World Series championship season. Having joined the Cubs in 2012, Dorey was a key part of the front office led by Theo Epstein that built the 2016 roster.
